Who I Help

Creative Souls

You notice everything around you; the way light falls through a window, the rhythm of a song, the tone in someone’s voice. Your sensitivity fuels your creativity, but it can also feel like too much at times. Maybe you overthink every detail of your art, your work, or your relationships. Maybe you hold back from sharing your ideas because you worry they’re not good enough, or that others won’t understand you.

Perfectionism, self-doubt, and fear of rejection creep in, leaving you exhausted by the weight of your own expectations. You long to express yourself freely, without second-guessing every step, and to trust that your sensitivity is a strength, not something to tame.

The Peacemakers

You’re the one others turn to. You’re the good listener, the problem-solver, the steady presence. But beneath the calm exterior, you’re tired of always putting yourself last. You shrink parts of yourself to keep the peace, smoothing over conflicts even when it costs you.

Sometimes you wonder, “If I stopped people-pleasing, would anyone still choose me?” You dream of relationships where you don’t have to tiptoe, where you can speak honestly without fear of pushing people away. A part of you knows you’re ready to stop moulding yourself to fit others’ needs. It’s time to figure out who you are when you stop carrying everyone else’s weight.

Partnerships Craving Connection

You and your partner love each other, but lately, it feels like you’re missing each other. You try to talk, but the conversations circle back to the same frustrations, leaving you both feeling misunderstood, distant, or stuck.

Maybe life transitions like new jobs, moves, kids, or losses have shifted the ground beneath you. You’re longing for more closeness, more playfulness, or just the ability to really hear each other again. At times, you might wonder, “Are we even speaking the same language anymore?” You want a relationship where both of you feel valued, supported, and seen. Not perfect, but real, resilient, and connected.

How I Help

Individual Therapy

A Supportive Path Forward
You want to feel seen, supported, and deeply understood. You’re ready to explore not only the “why” behind your experiences, but also how to move forward in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space where curiosity, creativity, and humour meet thoughtful exploration. I tend to work at a gentle pace, allowing space to fully understand your experiences while incorporating reflective and practical strategies to support you.

I often use metaphors, gentle reflection, and detailed discussion to help you make sense of your inner world. Alongside this, I introduce evidence-based tools with clear explanations of how and why they work, offering choices so you can decide what approaches feel most supportive for you.

If navigating past trauma is part of your journey, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and respectful of your readiness. Together, we’ll reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, holding space for both insight and growth in a way that feels grounded and collaborative. This approach may be especially helpful if you value depth, reflection, and a collaborative process that balances understanding with skill-building.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

Supporting Your Unique Connection
Every relationship has its own patterns, communication styles, and ways of connecting. In our work together, we’ll take a thoughtful and collaborative approach to understanding the dynamics that may be keeping you stuck, while creating space for deeper insight, empathy and meaningful change.

I tend to work in a structured, reflective, and exploratory way, while paying close attention to nuance and the underlying patterns in how partners communicate and respond to one another. When introducing strategies or tools, I provide clear explanations and offer options so you can choose and amend as needed so that the approach feels authentic and sustainable for your relationship.

I also support neurodivergent relationships and recognize that communication, emotional expression, and connection may look different across partners. Therapy is a space where these differences are respected and thoughtfully integrated into how you relate to one another, while strengthening trust, clarity and connection.

Therapies I use in my work: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Parts Work, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Gottman Method Couples Therapy

A Little About Me

A Little Backstory

I chose to become a psychologist because I love connecting with people on a deeper level, especially when it comes to exploring the more difficult aspects of life. Helping people work through their emotions and holding space for feelings and insights that aren’t easy is something I find deeply meaningful.

As I progressed in my education and training, I became especially interested in working with anxiety, trauma, and relationships. Part of that interest came from my own experiences of navigating relationships, life transitions, and big emotions.

When I’m Not in Session

Outside of the therapy room, I love playing instruments, curating playlists for different moods, and going to live shows. I also enjoy cozy, narrative-driven video games, rock climbing with my partner, and spending time with my beloved cat, Stevie Nicks.
