Who I Help

A woman with wavy blonde hair sitting on a green sofa, holding a mug, smiling, with a plant and decorative objects on a side table in the background.

Lonely Fringe Folks aka “The Black Sheep”

You’ve never really fit the mould, and honestly, you like it that way. But walking the road less travelled has carried a quiet ache. Maybe your beliefs, values, or lifestyle don’t quite match your family’s, leaving you feeling misunderstood or judged. Perhaps you’re constantly defending your choices: your decision to live child-free met with warnings of regret, your unconventional career dismissed. You’ve been labelled the “black sheep” simply for being yourself.

Amid all of this, there’s a loneliness that’s hard to name: a sense of being excluded, forgotten, or not fully seen by friends and family. It comes with a kind of grief that others don’t always understand, and that you might still be trying to make sense of yourself. You’re tired of having to justify who you are, and you long for a life where you can stand in your truth without apology.

People Carrying Old Wounds

You’ve been through some things. Maybe you’ve experienced capital-T trauma with a clear before and after, or maybe it’s the subtler kind that accumulated over years of being dismissed, criticized, or feeling like you were too much or not enough. Now you’re dealing with the aftermath: emotions that feel too big to handle, shame that whispers you’re fundamentally broken, or self-doubt that questions every decision you make. You might find yourself shutting down, lashing out, or white-knuckling your way through life. Your body holds it all: the tension, numbness, that gut feeling that something is wrong.

You’re tired of just surviving and ready to actually heal. It’s time to reconnect with your body’s wisdom, regulate your emotions without losing yourself, and believe you’re worthy of taking up space.

Couples Who Want More Than “Fine”

You care about each other, but lately it feels like you’re just roommates managing the logistics rather than partners building a life together. You used to feel connected and in sync, but now it seems like the same arguments keep cycling, or you’ve gone quiet to avoid conflict altogether.

It feels like life has gotten in the way. Perhaps you’re navigating a major transition—becoming parents, career changes, or just the slow drift that happens when life gets busy—and you’re not sure how to find your way back to each other. You want to break old patterns, communicate in ways that actually land, and rebuild the intimacy and trust that brought you together in the first place.

How I Help

Individual Therapy

A Grounded Space to Come Home to Yourself
You want to feel understood on a deeper level and untangle the parts of your story that still feel heavy or confusing. You’re ready to explore where you’ve been, what you carry, and who you’re becoming with honesty and care.

In our sessions, you’ll find a calm, steady space guided by warmth, curiosity, a little humour, and compassion. We’ll move gently, weaving nervous-system awareness, practical tools, and moments of insight to help you make sense of your emotions. I’ll support you in reconnecting with silenced or overlooked parts of yourself, creating space for grief, clarity, possibility, and self-trust.

If trauma or past overwhelm is part of your story, we’ll go slowly, honouring your pace and your body’s cues.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

Supporting Connection, Care, and Honest Communication
You’re seeking deeper connection, understanding, and intentionality in your relationship on a foundation that feels grounded and attuned.

Together, we’ll explore patterns that leave you feeling disconnected or misunderstood. Using relational self-awareness, somatic practices, and practical tools, we’ll discover new ways to communicate, repair past hurts, and build pathways forward. This is a welcoming space for all loving relationships: straight, 2SLGBTQIA+, and everything in between. Here, all partners are respected and held with care, working toward a connection that feels authentic, supportive, and alive with possibility.

Therapies I use in my work: Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Parts Work, Somatic Therapies (Hakomi-Informed), Trauma-Informed Care

A Little About Me

A Little Backstory

My journey to becoming a therapist was guided by my own transformative therapy experiences, which taught me the power of self-introspection and trusting my intuition. When loss led me down a path of healing and self-discovery, I reconnected with my calling to support others through their own journeys. Having navigated intense life transitions and the complex grief and joy that comes with starting over, I understand the courage it takes to seek help. I’m honoured to hold space for your growth, healing, and self-empowerment.

When I’m Not in Session

In my downtime, I enjoy writing, singing, and jamming with my band, as well as checking out live music around town. I also love getting lost in lore-rich video games, hunting for thrift shop hidden treasures, and tending my ever-growing collection of plant pals.
