Who I Help
Women Navigating Life’s Transitions
Life transitions — both expected and unexpected — can leave you feeling unsteady, overwhelmed, and unsure of who you are in this new phase of life. Whether it’s menopause, job loss, separation, or a medical diagnosis, these shifts often bring anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and a sense that everything familiar has been disrupted.
You may feel like you’re holding it together on the outside while internally navigating worry, grief, identity shifts, or constant mental overload. Decision-making can feel heavier, your confidence may feel shaken, and even everyday routines can suddenly feel harder to manage.
You want to feel grounded again, regain a sense of clarity, and have a space where you don’t have to be the strong one all the time. Our work focuses on helping you process the emotional weight of transition, stabilize your nervous system, and find steadiness and direction during a time that feels uncertain and emotionally demanding.
Teen Girls Finding Their Voice
Being a teen girl today comes with constant pressure — socially, academically, and internally. You may overthink interactions, compare yourself to others, or feel unsure of who you are or where you fit. Anxiety, identity questions, and the weight of expectations can make it hard to trust your voice and feel confident in your choices.
You want to feel more secure in who you are, speak up with confidence, and feel less consumed by self-doubt. Together, we focus on building self-trust, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of identity in a way that feels supportive and age-appropriate.
Parenting with more Confidence
Parenting can feel exhausting when you’re navigating emotional outbursts, anxiety, behavioural challenges, or ongoing sibling rivalry at home. You may find yourself second-guessing your responses, reacting in ways that don’t align with your values, or feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, guilt, and overwhelm while trying to do what’s best for your child.
You want clear, compassionate guidance that helps you respond with more confidence, set healthy boundaries without constant guilt, and strengthen your connection with your child. My approach offers practical, supportive strategies to better understand what lies beneath behaviours, support your child’s mental health, and help you feel steadier and more capable in your role as a parent.
How I Help
It’s Time to Feel Empowered
Whether you’re navigating the overwhelm of daily life, the pressures of adolescence, or parenting challenges, you want to feel more confident, steady, and capable. You’re ready to make sense of what’s been holding you back and start taking steps that actually help you feel better.
Therapy that is Warm, Clear, and Thoughtfully Direct
Sitting across from me, you’ll experience a calm, supportive presence paired with clarity and gentle directness when it’s needed. I believe therapy should feel approachable, collaborative, and grounded — not overly clinical or overly vague.
I integrate evidence-based approaches with clinical judgement, tailoring our work to your unique needs rather than following a rigid formula. This may include exploring emotional patterns, understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, and building practical strategies that genuinely fit your life.
You’ll have space to process difficult emotions and experiences, while also gaining insight, structure, and tools that support real, sustainable change. My approach is warm and compassionate, while still helping you stay focused on what matters most. Whether that’s supporting your teen, navigating parenting challenges, or moving through a major life transition with more steadiness and confidence.
Therapies I use in my work: Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment-Based Therapy
A Little About Me
A Little Backstory
My journey to becoming a therapist began with the birth of my first daughter, which sparked a deep desire to become the best parent I could be. Two more children and one graduate degree later, I’m grateful to be in a position to support others on their own paths to personal growth and wellness.
Alongside my professional training, my personal life has shaped me in equally meaningful ways. As a mother of three, I understand the complexity, joy, and constant evolution that comes with parenting. I’ve also navigated unexpected life transitions that required me to rebuild and reimagine my life in ways I hadn’t anticipated. Those experiences have deepened my empathy and strengthened my belief that meaningful change—while often difficult—is possible.
When I’m Not in Session
Outside of work, I love travelling and spending time outdoors with my kids. Our favourite activities include camping, biking, and skiing. Most weekends, you can catch me cheering them on at one of their many sports events!
