Who I Help
Those Seeking Depth
You’re over the quick-fix coping skills, and you’ve tried every self-help trend, book, and podcast, but nothing has felt quite right. You know that there’s more to your healing journey, and something inside you is signalling that it’s time to take a different approach and go deeper.
You're drawn to the idea that healing can be a full-body experience and that emotions live within you, not just in the mind. Even if it’s a new world for you, you’re looking to explore practices that help you feel more grounded, more present, and more you.
Those Feeling Disconnected
You’re tired of feeling distracted, sleepless, or disconnected from your body and emotions. After years of overriding your body’s signals—ignoring pain, numbing emotions, or pushing past exhaustion—it can feel unfamiliar, even uncomfortable, to slow down and tune in.
Part of you is scared to see what’s there, but you know it’s time to start feeling again. You’re ready to turn toward your body with curiosity and care. You may not know exactly how, but you know something needs to shift.
Women Exploring a Holistic Path to Healing
You’re looking for a way to feel more grounded, present, and connected to your body, your emotions, and even your sense of self. You may notice that stress, anxiety, or past experiences feel stuck in your body or mind, and traditional approaches haven’t fully addressed that.
You’re drawn to healing that feels integrative and whole, where movement, breath, or spiritual practices can help you process emotions, reconnect with yourself, and feel more balanced in everyday life. Even if it’s new to you, you’re curious to explore what it feels like to care for yourself in ways that engage your body, mind, and spirit together.
How I Help
It’s Time to Find Your Light Again
You're craving a therapy space that honours your emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and embodied wellbeing —a space where you can reconnect with your inner light, which may feel a little dim right now.
Therapy to Gently Reconnect with Yourself
I create a calm, inviting, and sometimes playful space where genuine human connection can thrive, including plant-filled corners, soft lighting, music, and a touch of humour. My approach is collaborative and curious. Together, we’ll explore the parts of yourself that have been tucked away, overlooked, or even hidden from the world.
I integrate evidence-based practices—often grounded in neuroscience—with creative, intuitive approaches inspired by Eastern and Indigenous wisdom. We will use mindfulness, embodiment, yoga, music, and other somatic methods to help you slow down, tune in, and reconnect with your body, your emotions, and the wisdom that already lives within you. With heart-led support, let me walk alongside you as you explore, feel, and express yourself more fully, helping you access your inner light in ways that feel authentic, gentle, and empowering.
Therapies I use in my work: Trauma-Informed, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Neurophysiology/Biofeedback, Somatic & Embodiment Therapies, Hakomi Therapy
A Little About Me
A Little Backstory
In the beginning, I studied brain and cognition sciences within a psychological framework, working in concussion research, and diving deep into how the brain and body respond to stress and trauma.
But it was my own journey with chronic illness, panic attacks, and burnout that led me to embodiment practices and yoga. I realized healing wasn’t just cognitive—it had to involve the body, the nervous system, and the soul. Becoming a yoga teacher felt like the missing piece that helped bridge the knowledge my body was intuitively trying to tell me with the education that was my passion. Now, I blend these two worlds in the therapy room: science and spirit, intellect and intuition, grounding and expansion.
When I’m Not in Session
When I’m not in sessions, you’ll often find me in nature hiking, snowboarding, running, or walking by the river with my mini-Aussiedoodle, Bailey. I love all types of music, learning, deep chats, candles, girlie craft nights, and reading with a cup of tea in hand (usually from my extensive mug collection). I find joy in both movement and stillness—dance parties and yoga flows, as well as naps, daydreams, and watching the sky change colours. Life is full of sacred little moments, and I’m continually working to notice them all.
