Who I Help

Women Feeling Overwhelmed by Life's Demands

From the outside, it may look like you're managing it all. Whether you're balancing a career, relationships, caregiving, motherhood, or simply the many responsibilities of everyday life, you're often the one others depend on. Somewhere along the way, your own needs have moved to the bottom of the list.

You may feel mentally and emotionally stretched thin, struggling to quiet your inner critic or wondering why things that once felt manageable suddenly feel so heavy. Perhaps you tell yourself you should be able to handle it, yet underneath the constant doing is a quiet exhaustion and very little space left for yourself.

Women's mental health is shaped by so many layers of our lives - our relationships, responsibilities, identities, and the many roles we hold. My hope is to create a space where you can set down some of what you've been carrying, better understand your experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels compassionate, sustainable, and true to who you are.

Supporting You Through Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Motherhood

Pregnancy and the transition into motherhood are often described as joyful, but they can also bring unexpected challenges. Alongside love and excitement may come anxiety, grief, guilt, loneliness, or a question many women quietly carry: “Why doesn't this feel the way I thought it would?” Whether you're preparing to become a parent for the first time, adjusting to life with a new baby, or years into carrying the invisible mental load of motherhood, you may find yourself wondering who you are beyond “mom.”

As a mother myself, I've gained a deep appreciation for how much women hold during this season - physically, emotionally, and mentally. While every journey is different, I believe no one should have to navigate these changes alone. Therapy can offer a place to feel understood, supported, and reminded that your experience matters too.

Finding Your Way Back to Yourself

There are moments in life when the questions become louder than the answers. What do I want? Why do I look to others for answers? Why don't I feel like myself anymore? Perhaps you've spent much of your life trying to meet the expectations of others, putting their needs before your own, or becoming the person you thought you were supposed to be. Over time, it can become difficult to know what you truly want, what you value, or even to trust your own voice.

Self-exploration isn't about reinventing yourself - it's about rediscovering who you are beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and roles you've carried for so long. Together, we'll create space to better understand the experiences that have shaped you, reconnect with what matters most, and help you move forward in a way that feels authentic, intentional, and true to who you are.

How I Help

You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You might wonder where to begin, worry that your struggles aren't “big enough,” or feel like you should have more answers before asking for help.

The truth is, you don't need to have it all figured out. You don't need the perfect words or a clear starting point. You simply need a place to begin. One of my favourite parts of this work is getting to know the person sitting across from me. I'm genuinely curious about your story - what has shaped you, what you're carrying, what matters most to you, and what has brought you to this point in your life. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood.

I approach therapy with compassion, a down-to-earth energy, and a collaborative spirit. Some sessions may focus on learning practical strategies to help you navigate life's challenges, while others may invite us to slow down, reflect, and make sense of patterns that no longer feel helpful. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right for you, and tailor our work to your unique needs. I don't believe therapy is about “fixing” who you are. Instead, I see it as an opportunity to reconnect with yourself.

Some days our conversations may feel challenging. Other days we'll celebrate meaningful wins, notice small shifts, or even share a laugh! My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling seen, understood, and a little more connected to yourself than when you walked in.

A Little About Me

A Little Backstory

My path to counselling hasn't been linear, but looking back, every chapter has pointed me in the same direction. I've always been drawn to people - their stories, what shapes them, and what helps them grow.

I began my career as a social worker, supporting women and families through community-based and crisis-supportive services. From there, I spent nearly a decade in leadership roles centred on people development and community engagement. Alongside my professional career, I’ve taught group fitness for over 12 years across a variety of modalities, including spin, yoga, boxing, and barre. That experience sparked a lasting interest in the mind-body connection and continues to inspire the kind of counsellor I hope to become.

Although each chapter looked different, they all shared a common thread: building meaningful relationships and supporting people through growth and change. Pursuing a Master's in Counselling feels less like starting over and more like coming back to the heart of who I am.

When I’m Not in Session

When I'm not in session (or studying in my final year of my Master's), you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our two young children, planning our next adventure, catching up with friends on a walk, or moving my body at a local fitness class - I'm loving lifting weights these days! Staying connected with the people I love and making time for movement are two ways I recharge and take care of myself.

You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out - you simply need a place to begin. If something you've read here resonates with you, I'd love to connect.
