Who I Help
People Pleasers
You're the helper, the fixer, the one everyone leans on because of your compassion and reliability. But lately, something feels off. You're tired of your needs always taking a back seat, and the weight of always saying "yes" is catching up. You feel drained, stretched thin, and maybe even resentful, but the thought of disappointing anyone feels unbearable. Deep down, you long to prioritize yourself, but you're unsure how to make space for your own needs without guilt.
Overthinkers
On the outside, you seem like you have it all together—managing work, relationships, and life's demands—but inside, your mind never stops. You replay conversations, worry about making the "right" choice, and imagine all the ways things could go wrong. The constant mental chatter leaves you exhausted, second-guessing yourself, and frustrated that you can't seem to quiet your thoughts. You crave clarity, confidence, and the ability to trust your own judgment without overanalyzing every detail.
Those Running on Empty
Your to-do list feels endless, and work-life balance seems like a distant memory. You've carried so much at home, at work, and in your relationships. Now the exhaustion isn't just physical, it's emotional too. You feel pulled in every direction, like there's never enough time or energy for yourself. Even small tasks feel heavy, and moments of rest come with guilt or anxiety that you "should be doing more." You long to breathe, reclaim your energy, and feel capable of living life without constantly running on empty.
How I Help
Find your Balance
You’re tired of saying “yes” to everyone else while feeling like your own needs keep getting left behind. You’re ready to trust yourself again, make decisions with confidence, and create the life you’ve been working hard for.
Therapy with Direction
In therapy, I bring a warm, approachable presence that encourages honest reflection and meaningful progress. I’m naturally curious about people and their stories, and I combine that curiosity with clear guidance to help you take action where it matters most.
My approach blends emotional processing with practical tools, giving you strategies to manage intense emotions, set boundaries, reduce stress, and navigate life transitions with clarity. We’ll focus on the discomfort that comes with change, learning to tolerate difficult feelings while taking steps that align with your values and goals.
Together, we’ll create a structured path forward that feels achievable, empowering, and tailored to your life to help you reclaim your energy, confidence, and sense of balance.
Therapies I use in my work: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
A Little About Me
A Little Backstory
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in government and non-profits, focusing on entrepreneurship and economic development. I reached a point where I knew a career change was required; I either had to commit to the path I was on or take a leap and try something entirely new. I changed careers, cities, and relationships because I wanted to make a bigger difference. Since making that shift, I feel truly grateful to witness and accompany clients on their journeys of change and growth.
When I’m Not in Session
I love to hang out with my dog and my partner when I'm not in sessions. I try to spend as much time outside as possible, and I’m always ready for a board game, fantasy football, a new restaurant, or a good book.
