Accessibility

It’s important to us that you feel seen, heard, and supported throughout your wellness journey.

We are committed to providing an accessible, safe, and inclusive space for all of our clients.

  • Our office is accessible by elevator. If you’d prefer to use the stairs, please contact us so your therapist can meet you in the lobby before your session to gain stairwell access.

  • An accessible washroom and a gender-inclusive washroom are located on the 2nd floor of Kensington House via elevator.

  • Infant changing stations are located in the 3rd-floor washrooms.

  • We offer seating for all bodies. Each office has a variety of seating options (chairs/couches) for your comfort.

  • Our offices are centrally located within short walking distance to Calgary Public Transit.

  • Can’t come to the office or are you feeling unwell on the day of your session? All Risewell therapists offer virtual sessions. Contact us if you need to convert an in-person session to a virtual session.

Mobility

Living room with two cream-colored armchairs, a gray sofa with pillows, a wooden coffee table with a decorative stone and plant, large window with city view, wall clock, floor lamp, and indoor plant.
  • Our office does not use fluorescent overhead lights, and we are happy to turn off the overhead lighting during your session.

  • Prefer less direct eye contact? You’re welcome to book a Walk and Talk session or let us know if you’d feel more comfortable with side-by-side seating during your appointments.

  • We are a fragrance-free office. However, some therapists may include a limited use of natural/essential oils as part of their practice. If you are sensitive to this please let us know.

  • For the comfort of our clients and to keep our office clean, we request all clients remove their outside footwear upon entering our office. Feel free to bring cozy socks, slippers or indoor footwear to your sessions.
